In summer 2026, Silverstone welcomes the inaugural BRDC Classic, a new event celebrating historic racing cars.

Silverstone is the legendary home of the British Grand Prix on both two and four wheels. Opened in 1948, having been an RAF base in the Second World War, it hosted the very first Formula 1 World Championship Grand Prix in 1950 – a race won by Giuseppe Farina. Since then, it has remained a cornerstone of international motorsport, witnessing the triumphs of legends like Jim Clark, Nigel Mansell, Lewis Hamilton, and many more.
