Qualifying
The perfect start to any race weekend - starting on pole. Chris and Jan did a fantastic job in qualifying, putting the Legacy Outlaws Lola on the front spot on the grid.
The Race
Pole in qualifying left the team in the best possible position for the race, despite knowing they had a driver penalty to serve in the pitstop window. After stretching a comfortable lead in the first stint Ward handed over the car to Magnussen for the second half of the race. A 30 second pro driver penalty left Jan a lot to do but setting fastest lap after fastest lap, he battled back through the field to finish just 1.8 seconds behind winner Armand Mille in his T70. Despite not quite making it all the way back to the win the team were delighted with the performance all round and their outright pace makes for an exciting prospect for 2026.
The Season
A season of slight ups and downs, as is often the case with classic motorsport. Getting on top of reliability and fighting against pro driver penalties is always tough but the team has done an incredible job fielding a fantastic car and with consistently strong drives from both Ward and Magnussen. 2026 looks to be a promising season and the team will be aiming to win the championship.
Onboard with the Outlaws
An epic double overtake by Magnussen through the twisty back sector of this old school circuit. Brave on the brakes, leaning on the car’s strengths and getting the moves done.
